Morning all,

I have 3 x solar powered hikvision 4k ds-2xs6a87g1-l/c32s80 installed on a job on quite a large site, all have been operating fine until a few weeks ago when one of them decided to go offline. Luckily enough the camera kicked back in during its routine maintenance (every Tuesday) when the system rebooted, however within 24-48hours of the reboot it is back offline. I wasn’t able to physically go to site, so again i waited for the scheduled system maintenance reboot the following week, again it went offline within 24-48hours. I have made a point of checking the battery levels daily and everything is good, so there is no issue with them. I also check the times they go offline which is sporadic and not at the same time within in the 24-48hr period.

I contacted CSL who provide the sims for the units and they state there should be no issue with them and the system was active until roughly the same time it went offline, I am therefore thinking it’s the unit. I am unable to get a connection to the unit and must attend the site check the system, before a reboot takes place.

The units have never been a problem, they where installed in February and have operated without any hitch until now. Any ideas how to solve this problem would be fantastic. I have included a photo of the setup and also a screen shot of what am seeing on my Hik-proconnect account.

Good evening.
Have you found the solution?
I have the same problem with 2 cameras:
DS-2XS6A87G1-LS-C36S80 and DS-2XS2T47G1-LDH-4G-C18S40

Thanks @aggrssr

If you search for the below model numbers in the Hikvision Firmware Search Tool you find the latest firmware models which are also listed below:

DS-2XS6A87G1-LS --- V5.7.52_240705
DS-2XS2T47G1-LDH --- V5.7.2_230616

The V5.7.2 firmware does appear to be a slightly older version than the version you are currently running, did you update the camera to the V5.7.2 build 231207 firmware?

If you did, can you remember where you downloaded that firmware version from?

I can't see this newer build version on the Hikvision website and both the UK & Global Hikvision sites only list the older V5.7.2_230616 firmware as the correct latest firmware for your model, so it might be that there is some glitch with the newer build firmware and it might be worth downgrading to the V5.7.2_230616 to see if that fixes the issue you are seeing.
