Hi
I already have 3x Hikvision Cams and run BI on a desktop PC in my home office.
We are looking into Baby monitor cameras and they all seem to be sketchy in terms of reviews and to be honest, I like the idea of adding something to my existing BlueIris setup.
My thoughts are a Hikvision Cube as it has decent night vision and two way audio. Obviously there is no 'screen' like a proper baby monitor but I can setup an old Tablet as a screen on a stand in the lounge and having the ability to access the Camera remotely appeals to me if family are baby sitting etc. Plus having it record to BI means its also an indoor security cam at the same time.
I will ceiling mount it in the corner, its a small ish box room so will be almost above the cot and if I get the 2.8mm lens, I can zoom in to see the baby and also re-use it when he gets bigger to have a full view of the room if he is playing in there etc.
Does this seem like a reasonable idea?
Thanks
