hikvision ANPR - number plate camera notifications?

Hello

Hoping someone can help me.

i have a license plate hikvision camera with license plate firmware.
it detects plates fine but for some reason will not notify the app.
i have better luck doing the number plate settings on the virual host for the camera rather then in the nvr but ive tried both ways to get notifications working nothing works. ( i can see the number plates coming up on the real time screen)

all other cameras work fine on all smart events

First thing to check - I think from memory there are 3 places to set the linkage to send an email. And it's easy to miss them, I have done it myself as the interface is not very clear or well designed.

On the camera web interface when you go to the linkage page and see a checkbox for sending email but that is only one of 3 tabs. The 3 tabs are "Blacklist", "Whitelist" and "Other". So if you check the first checkbox and save you will never get any emails if you have not setup and blacklists or whitelists. If you want an email for everything then you need to check the email checkbox in the "Other" tab.

EDIT: I see now you are talking about app notifications not email alerts but check/confirm what I said above as I think it still applies with the 3 tabs/checkboxes.

ANPR is set to Other.

I've just tried it on Email to see if that works (camera web interface) But that wont even connect to the SMTP (same details as in the NVR)
The NVR does not seem to pull the Vehicle Detections from the Camera to change the Vehicle detections settings on there.
I've had to set the Vehicle detection on the camera web interface

Just tested again. Email i get to work.
But still can get it on the app.

The 4 line 2CD4A25FWD and 26 varient range which yours is one of cannot work with the app only emails. The later 2CD7A26 bla bla /P does work with the app. I’ve ran several for years and in my opinion other than that, the 4 line is far superior to the 7 line and much underrated. If your considering moving for the app don’t bother as you’ll miss plates, poor image etc etc

Thank you for that.. yes I've been testing it lately and it's only missing the dirtiest of plates atm.. going play with some settings but I don't think that's too bad.

What would be the most up-to-date anpr in this range ? As looks like both are not supported any more

Did you ever manage to find the answer to this issue?

I’ve just got a iDS-2CD7A26G0/P-IZHSY and it won’t send notifications to the app for white/black list plates.
