Hi. Just a general question, would the 7732NI be a better upgrade from the 7608NI-M2 I only have 4 cameras all 8K. I have a very limited knowledge of networking, but I managed to set up my system on the house, with minimal problems. I follow my nose, ask lots of questions, and eventually find the right answer. Thanks in advance for any help/info on this subject.
regards Gaz

NI-SP is circa 2014, m serie came out 2 years ago.

You dont want 10+ year old hardware

Your cameras will be 4K (8 megapixel) not 8K (but if they are 8K I want some - lol)

Your 7608NI-M2 should be fine even if you used all 8 channels with 4K cameras as it has a high enough maximum incoming bandwidth to support that. There is a current 7732NI-M4 available but not worth the upgrade for you IMHO. 32 cameras, can take 4 rather than 2 disks and the 77 series has a mildly better spec. NXI models would be the logical upgrade as you can use the AcuSearch function (probably unnecessary in a domestic/residential application) and there are some other additional features.
