Hikvision 1080p DVR problems

Hi,

I have a new 8 channel Hikvision 1080p DVR. Model: DS-7208HQHI-K1

I also have 8 x 1080p AHD Cameras.

In the parameters area, my DVR won't give me any options for 1080p recording and the live feed from the cameras is quite pixelated and nowhere near 1080p.

The highest resolution the DVR will give me for these cameras is WD1 (576 x 960).

The drop down menu should obviously have the option for 1080p. I’ve attached an image of what I can see.

What is going on?

Hi,

I have worked out the problem now. It was that I needed to change the mode of the cameras using the switch on the BNC cables that I forgot about.

Then the 1080p option appeared on the DVR.
