How do you access the HIK Vision cameras via Browser? Specifically a Vandal/Bullaet Accusense camera DS-2CD2147G2-LSU and an older non-accusesnse DS2CD211F-120.
=======
I have a HIKVision Acusense Camera I need to rotate 180 degrees, which can apparently only be done on a web browser. The non-accusense camera can be rotated on the NVR software, but not the accusense.

Problem is, I can't access any of my cameras via a browser. They show up on the NVR and SADP, but not when I enter the cameras IP address (IP I chose for the camera 192.168.254.X or nthe first setup standard 192.168.1.64).Please note my router is 192.168.0.X.

1) I have tried Chrome and Edge by entering in 192.168.X.X with specific addresses I get off the camera, and I keep getting an address timed out result. I see the IP address as active on my SADP.

2) These two browsers have been tried with the

a. Camera-->NVR-->Laptop with SADP
b. Camera powered by 12 volt power supply-->Laptop with SADP
=======
I have done these with a Windows driven laptop and a windows driven Desktop.

Through a web browser I can't access the accusense camera model DS-2CD2147G2-LSU, but also a 10 year old DS2CD211F-120.

Using a browser access the NVR ( can’t be done on the local screen). In Settings > Network > Advanced > Other enable ‘Virtual Host’ and save, once done you’ll find links to each cameras web page on the Camera details page. Also with Virtual Host you can use the browser directly by adding :65001 to the NVR address for cam 1 :65002 for cam 2 and so on.

In order to see the rotate setting you’ll need to disable Smart Events and switch the camera to Monitoring in System.

Thanks. I will try that at home.

Am I missing something on manually rotating an Accusense Camera?

The accusense camera displays the view from my wall upside down. There is a tab that physically prevents the camera lens from displaying upright. Were I to cut that tab, I could rotate it correctly.

Not sure if it's a bullet camera, I tend to use the turrets and theres no issue in rotating them to suit.

Not proud of the solution I did to fix my $180 camera, but it now views correctly.

There’s a knob in yellow that was preventing the camera from turning and I cut off the knob with a set of wire cutters and it rotates the full range of motion.
