Help to choose new cctv system

Hi everyone.
I’m new here so a big Thankyou in advance to all those that can help.

I’m looking at buying and installing a cctv system and planning on going Poe to cut down on amount of cables.
I’ve been looking at the Hikvision 8MP cameras and a 4 channel NVR.

A few questions....

- I want to point the cameras specifically towards doors and back gates, etc.
Am I better going with a bullet style camera than the dome ones which I assume often being a lot higher up would cover too large an area?

- Do I need 8MP or would 5 be good enough? I’m wondering how this would stream to my phone even with a sub stream as I’m on a typical standard broadband connection.

Streaming to your mobile won't be 8mp but enough to see whats going on

Have you looked at Turret Cameras they are often the better option
