Help setting Hikvision DS-2CD2347G1-LU

Hello.
Can you please help me with the camera settings.
I bought a Hikvision NVR (DS-7608NI-K2 / 8P) and a Hikvision DS-2CD2347G1-LU camera. The problem is that the camera is not working properly or I have something wrong.

face recognition does not work. cannot be set.

unattended luggage detection does not work despite setup


object removal detection does not work despite setup

When I plug in the camera directly to the Plug-and-Play NVR, I can't log on to it via IE, but if I connect it directly to my home network, IE can get into the camera settings via IE.

forgive me if im wrong but I dont think face detection works when connected to that nvr.

That's the spec for the camera not the nvr. Maybe Phil or someone can help but I'm sure when it's connected via a nvr that feature does not work.

Please try not to mix the terms 'Face Detection' and 'Facial Recognition'.

Which CODEC are you using with the camera?
h.265+ will disable some advanced features.

Thanks for warning. I know what 'Face Detection' and 'Facial Recognition is. I was referring to face detection. And yes I have the H.264 encoding setting, but it still doesn't work and many more things. I wrote it in the first post. If you could help me, I would be grateful. THX
