Hoping you can help. NVR: DS-7604-NI-K1-4P(B) Cams: 4 x DS-2CD2355FWD-I.

I mounted the cams on my house yesterday, everything worked a treat. However, as you will see from the images, one of the cameras which started off fine, began to get Foggy. As the night progressed, it became worse until nothing could be seen. Even this morning the picture is still Foggy.

The other 3 cameras are fine, the only difference with this camera is the way its mounted (see img 31 & 32). The other 3 cams which are working fine, are under the eaves (see img 33).

I therefore assume, that this is the problem? but I read these cams could be mounted both horizontally and vertically.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,
The orientation doesn't matter - the turret cameras use a sealed ball.
Your images are fairly small and I can't quite see the fog problem.
Could be moisture on outer glass covering lens - in which case wipe away.
It could be moisture inside - should not be, but occasionally happens. In that case either it will clear over a couple of days, there is a silica gel bag inside which will absorb the moisture OR the camera will need to be opened and dried-out. You can do this yourself e.g. 24hrs in the airing cupboard OR return to your reseller.
