Ezviz X5 DVR cannot access thru local IP

Hello
I have an 8 channel Ezviz X5 Dvr and all works well with the app but I am wanting to access it directly via IP
I have tried using the ivs4200 software to connect I can add the Nvr/Dvr via p2p but I always get username/password incorrect when
trying to add via ip local and I know the password is correct for the DVR. Is it that the firmware will not allow that type of access?
Any help would be Appreciated.

We don't sell EZVIZ and have very little experience with it, but what we have found with other users in the past is that the EZVIZ range lacks compatibility with other brands and software so it may be the case that iVMS-4200 does not support the EZVIZ cameras and if you are trying to access the cameras remotely on a PC your only option will probably be to port forward the camera.
