good night people,
I bought this week a dvr HWD 5104 and a camera HWT-T140-M, all of hikvision Hiwatch Series Turbo HD.
I thought it would have been the choice at a price / quality level, since it was a 4 mp good quality small camera.
However I have a problem that I can not solve, and the store that sold me does not know how to solve.
The camera only works on CVBS with the maximum resolution 960 * 576, poor quality. I tried to switch to AHD, TVI, CVI but none of these modes gives a picture, all the tests I did was with the camera connected directly to the cctv with the bnc, female-female adapter.

Anyone know what I can be setting up wrong?

thank you

From what I saw the features of the dvr supports 1080p but not 720p I get.

Hi, As I often say here, we have no hands-on experience with HiWatch or Analogue solutions, therefore you may find better advice elsewhere.

Just a couple of suggestions:
Have you made your own co-ax cables?
If so, I would test functionality with a good quality, short, shop-bought cable.
And, is your power supply for the camera adequate.
