Hi,
I have changed my NVR from DS-7608NI-I2/8P to DS-7616NI-M2/16P because I needed more cameras. On the older I2 (with NVR 4.0) I used to view the live view with VCA info turned on (i.e. seeing the green/red boxes where any movements were happening). And that worked fine for the 6 cameras I had it set up on.
But now on the newer M2 when I try to enable "Show VCA info" in live view it only works for 4 cameras. If I try to enable it on the fifth camera it tells me "No more than 4 channel(s) can display smart information". The 6 cameras are all AcuSense but I don't think that matters. Is there anything I can disable to allow for more VCA enabled views in live view or is that just how it is in M2? It seems strange that NVR supports 16 cameras but only allows green/red boxes on 4 in live view especially when the older and less powerful I2 allowed at least 6. Is there any chance it will be allowed to more than 4 in a later firmware? Btw. I am on the V5.04.020.
