DS-7608NI-K2/8P vs DS-7608NI-I2/8P - fan noise

I have a K model, it's very loud! I was wondering, is the I model loud too, has anyone compared the 2 in that area?

I haven't got the patience to try something like below, i'll just upgrade to an I model if it's quieter!

Like many other threads on here, I found my new DS-7608NI-K2-8P unbearably loud. It has a channel well technologies PSU (KSA-180S2) with a 12v 5A rail, a 52v 2.5A rail and a really noisy 40mm fan, and then a second not-quite-as-noisy 40mm fan on the case. Everyone has a different sensitivity...

It is not something we have tested, we have powered on almost every variant of Hikvision NVR (except the 9600 series) and to the ear, they all sound very similar and I would expect that the K & I models of a specific size of NVR will likely use the same model of fan.
