ds-7208 Mouse gone and won't reset

Hi,
Setup a ds-7208 yesterday at work.
Took it to clients in afternoon and the mouse will not work. Tried two different mice, cycled power and still no go.
Today I have tried a setting reset, reboots back into live view but still no mouse.
Tried complete reset , boots back into live view , no wizard of which after full rest I would have expected and still no mouse.
Even tried loading old firmware but again boots into live view, no wizard setup and no mouse.
Can remote in no problems.
I would have though after a full reset it would have booted up into the wizard at least.

Can anyone offer any further help?

Have you used the rear USB port?

Yes, tried front and rear and different mice

Hmm, don't know why but left it off all day and turned it on and now its reset and mouse working, weird.

incase anyone experiences it, it was because I set it up on a VGA screen at work but used the hdmi at my clients. just needed to change the setting in the 'system settings ' menu output.
