DS-2CD2087G2-LU micro SD card query?

Hi just setting the above camera up before permanent fixing.
The specs say up to 256GB micro SD card capacity I have tried 3 cards but they all hang at 26% formatting
on IVMS 4200 & no joy on browser 128GB format & work fine as do 64GB .

The cards I have tried format on a pc fine & I've put 240GB of data on them for checking capacity.
Samsung Evo plus 256GB
Sandisk ultra 256GB
Lexar 256GB

DS-2CD2087G2-LU
V5.5.160 build 210108

My old Hikvision cameras have 128GB cards as a backup HDD1 & are currently recording on a server with TrueNas HDD2 also running a VM machine .

Just really wanted to use the extra capacity that I thought was available ?

Any ideas ?

We've never experienced or heard reports of problems with Hikvision cameras running 256GB MicroSD cards, I would recommend contacting who you bought from directly and ask them to investigate the issue with Hikvision support and/or return the camera for testing and potentially warranty replacement.
