DS 1600KI keyboard integration to IVMS 4200

Hi all, I have a home lab with a DS 1600KI and IVMS 4200. They are on the same network. How to integrate the keyboard to the platform? I am following the manuals of the keyboard and platform but it is of no help. Can someone help me out please?

I've never been hands-on with that particular keyboard model
I assumed that you would just USB connect it to the PC running iVMS-4200

Hi, I followed the manual itself. I tried connecting it to the PC with IVMS 4200 but no difference. Is there a place on IVMS 4200 where I can know that the keyboard is connected to the platform?

I enabled the keyboard and joystick settings and I think you have apart where you need to select the COM Port, but is the live feed and other features synchronised via USB ?
Also what port number does the keyboard use when communicating with IVMS 4200?
