Hi

Can anyone help please

I have got a new phone. For some reason the hik connect app didn't transfer from my old phone so I had to download it again.
I put in my phone number and password like it asked.
However I can't access the cameras on my phone.
It says enter the device verification code to decrypt?

Can anyone help please?

I don't actually know where to go from here

To find the verification code from your screen above, you need to log in, then go to Main Menu > Configuration > Network > Platform access.
There you will find your device verification code.

To find the verification code via a browser, you need to log into your NVR then go to Configuration > Network > Platform Access.
There you will find your device verification code. (Sometimes referred to as 'Stream Encryption/Encryption Key')

Hello

My parents are having a similar issue. They only access their camera from the mobile app but they need to reset it up as a new device as they’ve lost connection and the app is asking them for the verification code.

Is it possible to plug a monitor in to the dvr box to see the verification as advised above? If so how do I physically navigate to the steps as above, is there a remote or buttons on the dvr?

The verification code unique to the box or personal to the user e.g self chosen password?

Sorry for all the questions, just want to get it back up and running for them.
