Desperate to find outdoor camera that records more than 15 seconds of activity.

I'm desperate to find an outdoor camera that can detect motion and record it for more than 15 seconds.

I'd prefer a mains powered wi-fi camera that records to an sdcard and can "see in the dark". Its main purpose is to film nightime wildlife in the garden but I've now tried 4 different cameras none of which had the ability to detect motion and record it for more than 15 seconds. Playing it back on a tablet is so ridiculously frustrating that it makes it effectively unusable.

Why is it that they can record much longer periods of no activity at all but only very short bursts of movement? And why would anyone want that?

So if anyone can recommend a camera that fulfils this requirement I'd be very grateful.

I'm hoping to find something for about £100. Please help!

A professional IP CCTV camera from a brand like Hikvision will give you 15 seconds pre/post event record, you would probably be looking at a model like the DS-2CD2345FWD-I 4MP Turret camera
