Clarification on Firmware types

Hi all, I have installed a couple of DS-7204HUHI-K1 DVR’s at my home and at my daughters house and I must say I am more than pleased with the performance, 5mp turret cameras used.
I went to update the firmware (Hikvision Europe Portal) to the latest version and found 2 versions of the same version / release number but with slightly different file sizes. One had NEU in the title the other STD.
I can’t seem to find what the differences are and which one I should be using, any ideas please.

Use the STD = Standard version:
HikVision V5.5.2 Firmware - NEU or STD?

Thank you for your reply, do Hikvision not do release note stating the differences between STD and NEU versions ?

HikVision do tend to produce Release Notes with most new firmware releases.
At my last time of asking, the HikVision UK Tech Support staff did not know what the difference between NEU and STD was.

Yes, always use STD version i.e. standard version..
