We are trying to set up a 4 camera exterior system to monitor a unit which is too far away from our office to use normal wifi. We have a point to point wifi link set up, with the final 15m being Ethernet back to the router.
We have a cheap wifi cctv system that we were going to use, but it will not talk to our network, leading me to think that it may have its own protocols.
Would standard domestic wifi ip cameras work, and can anyone recommend one that does not solely rely on the cloud to view the images? Ideally I would like use a Windows based program to view it.
