iVMS-4200 Cannot use Camera Management in iVMS

I have a DS-7608NI-K2/8P NVR and two cameras; a DS-2CD4A25FWD-IZS and a DS-2CD2785G0-IZS.

The I go to Camera Management in iVMS and try to access the first camera it all works fine and I can access the cameras webpage:

but when I go to the second camera, I get the following error:

Both cameras are online and live stream can be viewed via iVMS or a webpage.

Why cant I access the configuration?

Are you running iVMS-4200 on a Windows 10 PC?
Also, what version of iVMS please?

Can you confirm what firmware version the NVR and problem camera are currently running?

The NVR (DS-7608NI-K2 / 8P) is V4.30.011 build 200803
Camera 01 (DS-2CD4A25FWD-IZS) is V5.4.5 build 170302
Camera 02 (DS-2CD2785G0-IZS) is V5.5.83 build 190221

Camera 02 is the problem camera.

The NVR firmware is quite a few versions behind, please update to each of the below versions one at a time (we don't recommend jumping too many versions in one go).

V4.30.071 build210517
V4.31.105 build210727
V4.32.110 build211009
V4.32.116 build 220112

The 2785G0 firmware is also several versions behind

V5.6.1 190604
V5.6.4 191224
V5.6.6 210625

Once you are running the latest firmware on both the camera and NVR I think the remote configuration should work for both cameras.

I've upgraded to the latest firmware's as suggested but still no luck as I have the same issues.

Is there anything else I can try?

Are both cameras directly wired to the rear of the NVR?

How did you upgrade the camera's firmware?
i.e. access the camera's web pages for updating the firmware?

Hello Phil,

Yes, both cameras are directly connected to the NVR, there is nothing in between the camera and the NVR other than a RJ45 socket.

To upgrade the firmware, I did go directly to the NVR and camera webpage.

Ah, sorry, you did say way back at #1 that you can access the camera's web page.
So, by that, you mean that if you use a browser and log-in to the NVR, then you can use the hyperlink in Camera Management for the problem camera and access it OK?

Are the browser that you used and iVMS-4200 both installed on the same PC?

Yes, you are correct - I can access both camera hyperlinks using a web browser but only one of the camera links work if I use iVMS.

Both the browser and iVMS are installed on the same computer.
