192.168.254.2 is probably sitting behind a POE NVR then. Yes ? There's probably a way via Virtual Host but I'm not so sure what port # that would be. Some one else might know.
As a workaround:
plug your laptop (or PC) into a spare POE port on the NVR
MANUALLY set your laptop to an address on the 192.168.254.xxx network. Use something like 192.168.254.250
then open your browser to xxhttps://192.168.254.2:443
I tried on non-POE connection. Those are the messages for the iVMS4200:
If you select View Certificate, then you have the option to install and possibly proceed to login page.
The other way that worked for me is the Edge browser:
You select Advanced and then Continue to 192.168.xxx.xxx and login page
When enabling Https Browsing on Batch configuration tool there seems no change to port 443. This is on 8000 and 80
I also do not know if a self signed Certificate would allow connection without blocking or warnings. This could be done by entering configuration through Batch configuration tool
