Can I Upgrade International Version Firmware on DS-7616NI-I2?

Hi,

I do not which region of NVR, DS-7616NI-I2, I have. Currently, it's running 3.4.62. I checked the Hikvision USA site, their latest version is 3.4.3 about 39.4MB. I checked Hikvision European, the latest is 3.4.92 about 16.3MB. I supposed my installer upgraded the firmware from Hikvision European site to get it running firmware version 4.3.62, which Hikvision European site has. Can I go ahead with the upgrade to 3.4.92 from the Hikvision European site? Another question is why US firmware is a lot larger than the one in European site?

Hi, your NVR's serial number will give you an indication of the region your device was made for. See towards the end of this article for the difference between Western/Chinese region devices:
