Hi.
I have a camera, the model I have specified in the title. This camera is not detected in SADP.
The firmware version is V.5.5.5_180111 on the sticker on the camera body.

I have connected to the camera using UART. And I see that the bootloader version is 3.1.6-269644.

HKVS # help
The following commands are supported:
boot erase help reset
setenv printenv saveenv updateb
upf update format go
mii gpio ping

Using the update command I updated the firmware to IPC_R6_EN_STD_5.5.82_190909.
I got a message that the update was successful... After that I rebooted the camera...
In the UART log I can see how the firmware starts loading... it reaches some point and the camera reboots (it can be seen in the loading log).
How can I fix this? What could be the problem? I have tried different firmware versions for the R6 series, but it doesn't work.

When I try to update via upf I get

Hi @Focster

It sounds like it could be a fault with the camera, based on what you've said in your post I think the only other thing you could try would be to hard reset the camera.

The reset button is on the back of the camera under the RJ45 Network port, to reset the camera follow these instructions:

1) disconnect the camera's power
2) hold down the reset button
3) whilst holding the reset button, reconnect the camera to the power
4) continue to hold the reset button for a further 30 seconds

After 30 seconds you can release the reset button and the camera should reboot and be reset to default factory settings.

If the camera still doesn't appear in SADP then I think it is more than likely that there is a fault with the camera and you will have to look for a replacement model.

Привет @Focster

Good afternoon.
Thanks for the quick response.
The thing is that I have 3 more of my cameras (working ones) and they have exactly the same version of the bootloader, and this one (which reboots) was given to me to look at and maybe get it to work.

I updated the firmware on my cameras via tftp (on purpose) and everything updated well and works.

I also tried resetting the problematic camera using the reset button, but that didn't work (it does on working cameras).

I also had the idea to transfer the **** from the working chamber to the problem one, but I do not have a 48pin flash adapter for my programmer.... And I also think that this is not a software problem in the camera..... I read somewhere, that the crypto module in the camera may fail... but I don’t know where it is or what to do about it.)

Just because the camera is available on YouTube... it seemed like it could be fixed.)
