Bought a new Hikvision DVR system, have some questions

Hi, I'm pretty new to all this cctv stuff and I've finally setup this Hikvision system.
My DVR: DS-7208HUHI-K1
cameras: DS-2CE56H0T-IT3F 5mp (x6)
output vga 1080p

Under recording parameters, I noticed the resolution on my DVR goes up to 4MP for some reason, is this normal? Shouldn't there be a 5mp option?
I'm assuming I need to upgrade my firmware for the camera and DVR? I've tried to navigate through that portal but I am completely baffled by it.
Can someone guide me as to which firmware I should upgrade to?

My current firmware is: V3.5.35 build 180316
I cant find the current firmware for my cameras.
