I am totally baffled by this despite Bosch sending me a couple of emails. I have an install using a Divar 2000 with 6x Bosch 6000i Starlights. The NVR is connected to the clients router but I'm NOT permitted to use port forwarding.
Bosch tell me remote access is possible if I use 'Video Security Client' app and the following applies;
Firewall is not excluding connection and the cameras have IP, subnet, gateway and DNS and are on a switch built into the NVR!?
Suffice to say the "firewall" in my world is the customers router and probably IS excluding an inbound connection request from the app.
Any advice, thoughts, views greatly appreciated......and no Hik is not an option on this install!
