AHD DVR

Hi.

Im looking to replace an old Qvis DVR with a Hikvision.

The existing cameras are a mix of 2.4MP and 4MP AHD cameras.

Looking at the specs on the Hikvision, for AHD they show 4MP, 1080p/25 etc, but not 2.4MP.

Would the old Qvis 2.4MP work with a new Hikvision?

Sorry, we haven't got any relevant experience that might help you with this, because of our focus on IP cameras we really don't get hands-on with any analogue solutions.

I would guess that it might not be straight forward.
If it were traditional analogue co-ax cameras, then no problem at all.
But AHD from a factored brand (I think Dahua made QVIS) could be more problematic.

Somebody may drop by with more experience and a better answer.
