Advice on cameras compatible with Maxxone DVR

Hello,

I would be very grateful of any advice please on selecting some cheap and cheerful cameras that will work with a MaxxOne M1p-NX216-A DVR please.

We currently have an 8 camera FUNLUX system running over POE so all the network cable is in place already. The FUNLUX DVR has broken and we have been gifted this new MaxxOne DVR but have now found the FUNLUX cameras to be incompatible.

Ideally I would like to be able to add 8 new cameras to run off the existing network cable, plugged into the new MaxxOne DVR - however, the MaxxOne cams are pretty expensive so hoping I could find something a little cheaper. All cams are internal.

Any advice on either specific cameras or what I need to look for in a camera would be appreciated.

The MaxxOne recorder you have is ONVIF compliant so any ONVIF compliant camera should work ok with your NVR, we would recommend Hikvision, Wisenet, AXIS, Vivotek, and any of the other camera brands we sell at use-IP.
