Turns out you were right that the cameras need to be connected to an external POE switch for them to be recognised by AX Pro.
Another issue I've found now is that a camera in AX Pro cannot be linked to multiple zones. I can't find any valid reason for this and it hinders its usability.
Hi all,
I have the AX Pro DS-PWA96-M2H-WE (v1.2.9, 240412) with 2 outdoor sirens on latest versions running on battery. Every single day I get a notification "Expander power failure" for both sirens. This is clearly a bug as the sirens are supposed to be running on battery.
Also is anyone...
Hi and thank you for your detailed reply!
I'm not sure if the IP cameras must be connected to a switch other than the NVR, but what is important is for them to be on the same subnet as the main network.
Correcting and adding to my original post, this is my network topology:

Hi all,
I am trying to add cameras connected to the Hikvision M-Series NVR [DS-7732NI-M4/16P] to my AX PRO.
The cameras appear to be added successfully but when I enable video verification, the camera shows 'offline' in AX Pro with the error that video stream failed to load.
I tried to...
I have the DS-7732M4/16P NVR, and I am trying to connect an AX Pro Relay (2 wires) to Alarm Input 1 so that I can enable/disable liveguard. However, i cannot see anywhere to plug the 2nd cable (ground). Previous NVRs had a GND terminal, which cannot be found in this M-series.
How would you do it?
While this is definitely better than the Voice, the downside is that in iOS the only sound is a siren, which is inappropriate for arming and disarming. Any ideas?
Yes, it's always channelID=3 when the human target is enabled. Which DVR/NVR do you have and firmware?
Mine is the iDS7216HUHI-M2/S with firmware V4.27.000 build 210702
Hi,
Did you ever find a solution?
I have a iDS7216-HUHIM2/S (C) which hasn't received a firmware upgrade for over a year, and I am experiencing the exact same issue.
Disabling the Human checkbox results in multiple false alarms.
