Did anyone try the previous firmware on the NVR?

I would use the UK site for camera firmware. Just pointed towards the EU portal for the older NVR firmware Look here https://www.hikvision.com/en/support/download/firmware/

HIKVISION UK PORTAL You can get previous versions of firmware here for the 76xx 77xx and 96xx NVR. You can update as per the attached pic Let me know if it helps with the issue. At work atm so can’t test it

I believe you can download older firmwares from the EU portal but it seems down atm. I’m using these setting which produce no green screen issues. H264 and H265 is just the compression. The quality should be as good on each

Did you try h264+?

Do you have an option for H264+?. According to the storage calculator it gives the same sized files as H265. H265+ would give smaller ones which would be ideal I’m using an iphone. What are you viewing the app on?

These setting work well for me. Bummer I can’t get H265 to work on my phone without resorting to basic on the app instead of HD

I have the same cameras and have the same issue. I found H264 and to click enable H264+ works well. H265 or H265+ gives me large green squares as you have noticed

I have this same NVR with 4x 8mp colorvu 2387 cameras. I'm having the same issue with H265 and H265+ encoding. H264 and H264+ seems to work ok. On the app I get regular freezing and large green areas on the images unless I select basic quality where then it works fine Did you ever get this sorted?
