I have the same issue, thought it was just me.

Maybe because it’s impossible or near impossible to install an app without it being from the App Store on apple phones. I know if I couldn’t ever update my Hik-Connect app any more on my iPhone 11 I would seriously consider replacing my whole hikvision cctv system.

I updated all 6 of mine 2 days ago without any problems. Would be great to have further info on what’s changed.

Yes, I tend to only turn on the notifications if I go on holiday, or out the hours all day etc otherwise I manually check the notifications tab and scroll through for anything suspicious. I tend to keep the notifications tab clear to avoid missing something out of the ordinary. As I have set up...

I have mine on NOT push notifications and mine has never reset back to notifications after midnight. Not sure how to get that on, this would annoy me to be honest having to turn it off every day. I would rather just go on the app and enable it myself as and when needed.

I have a Hikvision NVR DS-7608NI-I2/8P and one of the cameras is a DS-2CD2T45FWD-I5. This camera is on the front of my house and it has an LED motion detection flood light around 3 meters away. Of a night when this flood flight comes on the camera immediately freezes for around 2 seconds...

This would be awesome if you could get hik connect on an Apple TV box. Don’t know why it’s not possibly the legit way.

Wow that’s bad that they shared you the streams. I would feel very uncomfortable about that. Can’t you just reset the devices and set it all up yourself? Or are you not confident with this?

I don’t understand why you, the owner of the device can not have the admin user credentials.

Just updated mine, can’t see anything new, although I haven’t had much of a rummage. It’s annoying when they don’t include release notes.
