Firmware Latest HikVision Firmware for M-Series NVRs (with 5.0 GUI) - V5.01.060_240110

The "Event Center" bell icon at the top right corner of the local GUI.... previously if you set the filter to exclude an event such as "Generic Event/Motion" these events would not "count" on the bell icon... I'm going to be seeing 99+ in red up there most of the time now! Would rather just see...

Firmware Latest HikVision Firmware for M-Series NVRs (with 5.0 GUI) - V5.01.060_240110

I have 3 EZ-Viz wireless cameras connected to the NVR... 2 of them are fine but the DB1C doorbell is not connecting... status shows "Certificate verification failed". Under "Edit Device" on the NVR for the DB1C, I see there is a "Verify Certificate" button that is not checked?... tried...

Firmware Latest HikVision Firmware for M-Series NVRs (with 5.0 GUI) - V5.01.060_240110

Just upgraded DS-7616NI-M2/16P... I see what you mean, would be nicer if the boxes would time out to give a clean view... they also are there and do not timeout while in the full screen view. I agree with you regarding all your PTZ notes...

is it possible to run a cctv camera from a mobile phone only?

I agree with @Phil ... it's not straightforward, but I do currently have several wireless EZ-Viz cameras (not recording, but with SD cards to record events) that I can access using the EZ-Viz app at a site where a cellphone hotspot is the only internet access. I do receive alerts from these...

    New Hikvision NVR GUI 5.0

I took a look at the new User Manual for a model running the 5.0 firmware and noticed the "Applicable Models" section includes all the non-AcuSense I and M series models such as DS-7616NI-I2/16P and DS-7616NI-M2/16P. Maybe there is new firmware on the way for these...

    New Hikvision NVR GUI 5.0

I've seen @steve1225 mention somewhere else that new AcuSense and DeepinMind NVRs like this one now have the new 5.0 GUI... DS-7616NXI-I2/S The full model number is actually DS-7616NXI-I2/S(E)... runs firmware V5.01.060 release 240110. The older version DS-7616NXI-I2/S(C) does not run the new...

Hikvison DS-7608NI-K2 / 8P Live Display in wrong place

I think it has something to do with the pc screen resolution... changing the pc screen resolution may correct the issue... but you probably don't want to change your screen resolution... so a better fix may be to change (reduce I think) the zoom level on the browser. I use Edge and it remembers...

    Firmware M series V4.63.025_231201 available

I suspect that the video loss function is enabled on your system already.... the web browser is showing it as disabled even if it is enabled. I also tried changing the similar "video tampering detection" function on the web browser and that worked fine.

Video loss detection not working after firmware update?

Hello again @x1nexus ... when I tested, I was working on the NVR directly... I checked again using web browser access to the NVR and there is a problem... even though I know video loss is enabled on the channel, the web browser menu item shows it as disabled and if I try to change it to...

Video loss detection not working after firmware update?

Hi @x1nexus ... I have a DS-7616NI-M2/16P that I upgraded to firmware version 4.63.025 also... I use the video loss function on all my cameras... to test, I disabled video loss on a camera and then re-enabled it... seemed to work fine... then I unplugged that camera from the NVR.... I got the...

With this latest version 4.63.025 it seems Western Digital drives are no longer detected by menu item "Maintenance/HDD Operation/Health Detection". They were detected in prior versions.

    Camera quality C vs non-C model DS-2CD2386G2-ISU/SL

Wow! great job testing and figuring that out! I guess the grass is always greener on the other side :) It does seem like a "bug" to me... I image with the white balance set differently on the cameras you may see some differences throughout the day and night? I assume from your spelling of...

Firmware New Hikvision I Series NVR Firmware Update - 4.61.000

I have not been getting the green blocks in Hik-connect at all... If I view a 16384Kbps 8MP camera in Hik-connect while connected to the Wi-Fi on the same network as the NVR, the HD live view in Hik-connect works great. If I try the same thing while connected to the cellular network, the...

    Camera quality C vs non-C model DS-2CD2386G2-ISU/SL

Hi @benwillcox I was just about to reply with a similar suggestion as @JB1970 above... If it's not too much trouble to pan the new camera to point in the same direction as the old one to test, you'll really take the big variable direction of sunlight from the equation. I have...
