Firmware Latest HikVision Firmware for M-Series NVRs (with 5.0 GUI) - V5.01.060_240110

I may not have been clear... The "System Configuration/Local/Rule Information" in the web GUI only affects the web GUI live view / playback... so enabled on the web GUI all seems to work correctly in both live view and playback... with no channel limit... there is no other show/hide button in...

Firmware Latest HikVision Firmware for M-Series NVRs (with 5.0 GUI) - V5.01.060_240110

If you turn on "System Configuration/Local/Rule Information" in the web GUI, the Live View display in the web GUI happily displays VCA Info without the 4-channel limit... seems kind of arbitrary that the Live View screen on the NVR would have this limitation.

Firmware Latest HikVision Firmware for M-Series NVRs (with 5.0 GUI) - V5.01.060_240110

A couple of more notes on the juddering playback issue: 1. I use iVMS-4200 and playback is still ok there (I log into the NVR locally in iVMS-4200... I'm thinking someone who uses iVMS-4200 but logs into Hik-Connect will probably experience this playback juddering?) 2. I tried changing the...

WD Purz 6TB Compatible with 7608NI-I2/8P NVR?

Pretty certain that drive is compatible with your I-series NVR... about 2 years ago I asked a similar question here... Is the WD Purple PRO HDD WD8001PURP compatible with the Hikvision DS-7616NI-I2/16P NVR? Felt a bit silly even asking... it turned out the drive I purchased from a very popular...

Firmware Latest HikVision Firmware for M-Series NVRs (with 5.0 GUI) - V5.01.060_240110

Double click action seems ok for me... nothing new, could be your specific mouse type is not as agreeable with the new GUI? I don't think we can figure this live view/stream type inconsistency issue out any further for now... hopefully Hik-Vision will change something next release.

Firmware Latest HikVision Firmware for M-Series NVRs (with 5.0 GUI) - V5.01.060_240110

6 of my cameras are DS-2387G2-LU... it does seem to happen more on the channel 4 camera, but I can't say for sure. I'm thinking maybe if I don't try to change the stream type manually at all after an NVR reboot it will work as it used to... UPDATE - Before I tried to reboot, I tried to set the...

Firmware Latest HikVision Firmware for M-Series NVRs (with 5.0 GUI) - V5.01.060_240110

Hmmm... when you double click on a camera from the live screen to switch from for instance a 3X3 view to a single camera view the steam does not change from sub to main (if you had already changed the single camera view to sub manually). I think the 4.0 GUI worked like iVMS-4200 when set to...

Firmware Latest HikVision Firmware for M-Series NVRs (with 5.0 GUI) - V5.01.060_240110

On the 4.0 GUI live view screen you could use the mouse wheel to go through the camera pages (or cycle through each individual camera if in single screen) ... this has been removed in the 5.0 GUI... now you have to use the arrows on the bottom pop-up menu to navigate through the cameras/pages...

Firmware Latest HikVision Firmware for M-Series NVRs (with 5.0 GUI) - V5.01.060_240110

Just did "Factory Defaults" and formatted the drives... don't really think it will change anything but figure this way I know that's ruled out... had a bit of trouble finding "Enable Virtual Host"... it moved...

Firmware Latest HikVision Firmware for M-Series NVRs (with 5.0 GUI) - V5.01.060_240110

In the Live View screen on the NVR... if you select "Display VCA Info" from the pop-up menu at the bottom of the screen only the first 4 windows (I have 3 x 3 on my default view) will show VCA lines/information... if you go to another individual window say 7 and from its pop-up menu select...

Firmware Latest HikVision Firmware for M-Series NVRs (with 5.0 GUI) - V5.01.060_240110

Yes, but after you stop moving the mouse from image to image, the pop-up bars at the top and bottom of the last image do not time-out... previously they would time out in about 10-15 seconds and leave a cleaner view.

Firmware Latest HikVision Firmware for M-Series NVRs (with 5.0 GUI) - V5.01.060_240110

And now the opposite, the online help pages were working for me correctly before, but now magically appear in Chinese! Oh wait, the next login, now back to English... I did not clear browser cache in the interim so that's not it... not a big deal but something is not right!

Firmware Latest HikVision Firmware for M-Series NVRs (with 5.0 GUI) - V5.01.060_240110

I took a look at this but can't make any sense of it... couldn't find any information in the user manual. I'm not saying it's not working, just can't figure out what is supposed to happen. "Allow Disarming" has a note "Disarming is allowed for the channel. Enabling this function does not mean...

Firmware Latest HikVision Firmware for M-Series NVRs (with 5.0 GUI) - V5.01.060_240110

Yep… event playback on iPhone Hik-Connect is choppy now… the old events before NVR update are still smooth… I did shutdown/re-power the NVR after update, and I am running latest Hik-Connect v6.1.30 on iPhone... The new events do playback smoothly on the NVR interface... this bug will probably...

Firmware Latest HikVision Firmware for M-Series NVRs (with 5.0 GUI) - V5.01.060_240110

Now we know we can rollback, if necessary, even if it's a PITA... thanks for that @rorton! I don't use an iPad, but I can see how the remote playback issue you reported could be a showstopper. Going to check remote playback on iPhone Hik-Connect...
