Hikvision color vu not sending event notifications at night?

Hi @alfaclvi and @Martel ... Curious to know which video encoding you guys are using? I recall someone mentioning the smart/plus codecs could cause problems with events?

Hik-Connect Hik-Connect changes camera's sub-stream FPS and max bitrate settings when you live view using "BASIC"?

I not sure when this started... probably with the latest Hik-connect V6.2.1? Only iPhone? Does it happen on all NVRs, or just M-series NVRs? I have DS-7616NI-M2/16P firmware V5.01.060 build 240110, Hik-connect V6.2.1 on iPhone, and DS-2CD2387G2-LU cameras... Each camera I "live view" on...

Hik-Connect Hik Connect is no longer showing thumbnail snapshot images for all my cameras when I open the App?

Me too... I just tried... thumbnails did not refresh until I loaded each camera, then they did.

    DS-7608NI-I2/8P Performance Issues?

Since you can view the stream correctly in VLC, all must be good with the camera/router Wi-Fi connection ... I noticed in the camera specs... Any chance you are trying to get the mainstream to more than 2 devices at the same time? Here's my "system maintenance/running info/record" page...

Hik-Connect Hikvision IOS app update V6.2.1 - "No video in the selected range"?

Hi @busterboy ... I see on another thread you have upgraded your M-series NVR to the latest 5.0 firmware. It seems like... If you run the latest M-series firmware and Hik-connect 6.2.1, things work but there is the jerky playback. If you don't upgrade to the latest M-series firmware...

    DS-7608NI-I2/8P Performance Issues?

What is the model number of the camera? Can you adjust the bitrate of the camera using the Reolink software? Maybe the bitrate is too low? Plenty of room there so I it doesn't seem like the Reolink issue could be caused by limited NVR incoming bandwidth. I might try increasing the bitrates...

    DS-7608NI-I2/8P Performance Issues?

I haven't used ONVIF, but I'd guess the compatibility you are seeing now is the best you will get with ONVIF... an alternative would be to switch at least the doorbell from ONVIF to RTSP... I think you would be able to record the clear/main stream that way, but you would not be using the NVR to...

Hik-Connect Hikvision IOS app update V6.2.1 - "No video in the selected range"?

Despite the recent issues with the new M series firmware, I'm sticking with Hikvision... The performance of the M series NVR has been great, and the new GUI does have some nice new features/improvements...most important to me is that there isn't a newer M series hardware revision required to run...

Hik-Connect Hikvision IOS app update V6.2.1 - "No video in the selected range"?

I think it's usually difficult for end users to reach Hikvision for support even when there aren't holidays... that's a good idea to send a report via the app store... Hopefully there will be a new release to fix the issue soon.

Hik-Connect Hikvision IOS app update V6.2.1 - "No video in the selected range"?

I just upgraded my iPhone to Hik-Connect 6.2.1 also... not seeing the "No video in the selected range" error on playback you guys are getting. My NVR is DS-7616NI-M2/16P... since I'm not seeing the error and you both are, I suspect you have other NVR's that may be similar to each other...

DS-7716NI-M4 - Anyone had hard disk issues?

If it was your own home system, I suppose you could try swapping disk 1 with disk 3 and disk 2 with disk 4 to help determine if it is the drives or the NVR... maybe not practical at a customer site.

Firmware Latest HikVision Firmware for M-Series NVRs (with 5.0 GUI) - V5.01.060_240110

Definitely not a defect... not changed from the 4.0 series firmware to the 5.0 series firmware... there were always some features that were only available on the NVR directly... also, some settings such as enabling virtual host are only available in the web GUI. Plug a mouse and monitor (or...

Firmware Latest HikVision Firmware for M-Series NVRs (with 5.0 GUI) - V5.01.060_240110

This is a minor little bug in V5.01.060_240110... sometimes when you go to the "System Maintenance / Running Info / Record" page, the bitrate values reported are clearly some accumulated figure... A few seconds later when the page updates the bitrate values are correct...

Firmware Latest HikVision Firmware for M-Series NVRs (with 5.0 GUI) - V5.01.060_240110

In my case the doorbells worked with the Hikvision protocol until the NVR was upgraded to V5.01.060_240110, so I suspect it with take another NVR firmware update to fix this. It doesn't seem to make sense getting "Certificate Verification failed" if "Verify certificate" is unchecked when adding...

Firmware Latest HikVision Firmware for M-Series NVRs (with 5.0 GUI) - V5.01.060_240110

The "Certificate verification failed" status occurred for both a Hikvision DS-HD2 and an EZ-Viz DB1C doorbell. Even though I had "Verify Certificate" unchecked... I have added the doorbells (hopefully temporarily) using the HIKVISION_RTSP protocol...

Firmware Latest HikVision Firmware for M-Series NVRs (with 5.0 GUI) - V5.01.060_240110

I don't have the NVR 4.0 GUI running so I can't be sure, but did this change? Instead of "Network Camera Plug-and-Play" the 4.0 version of the PoE setting screen had "enable/disable"? I tried turning off "Network Camera Plug-and-Play" for PoE port 1 and the camera went offline. I was then able...

Firmware Latest HikVision Firmware for M-Series NVRs (with 5.0 GUI) - V5.01.060_240110

I've wondered about this too... not just Hik-Connect, other apps on my iPhone do not automatically update... there is a setting in iOS for "App Updates" that I did have turned on... I did not have "Automatic Downloads" (cellular data, same settings screen) checked so I have checked it now and...
