That would be an improvement but still wouldn't be ideal. Depending on the ambient lighting, the auto and sensitivity settings may result in day during the day and day during the night, even though you may need a different scene selected at night. Ideally, we should be able to select the scene...

Is the NVR set to all-day continuous 24/7 recording or maybe just recording events? If just events, maybe there are uneventful days with no recordings?

Hi @shw and @KamirZG ... The doorbells Kamir mentions are PoE ... better than Wi-Fi if you can get the necessary cabling in... they have more reliable connections than Wi-Fi doorbells and do have more capabilities like indoor stations and opening doors. Hikvision does have the DS-HD2 doorbell...
