It's good you know that! I've been though that too... Hikvision support does get it cleared up in a day or so after you contact them. Hopefully, it is just a bug.

Hi @imtiyazp ... then it seems like the V5.0 firmware is only allowing genuine Hikvision cameras to connect using the HIKVISION protocol... you could try adding them as HIKVISION_RTSP... disadvantages are the streams have a few second delay when loading and you won't be able to manage the camera...

The Hik-connect stuttering playback has been fixed in the latest release V5.02.005 build 240318... and @stuhope123 's doorbell connected with this release as well... maybe time to give it a shot?

I don't think you need to enable RTSP pass through on the router... change that back and see if everything keeps working... it should!

Howdy @shaunj187za ... I don't have that camera... my old PTZ is connected to a PoE port on the NVR and only draws about 10W... from the specifications you provided it looks like a 60W PoE injector should work?

Be careful which firmware you try to load!... I'm going to check now to see what I would try to load if it was mine... Seems like this is the newest...

Select the doorbell checkbox and hit the add button: Enter username and password and the doorbell should show up as connected on the list at the top... then select the doorbell there and hit the upgrade button: Then select local upgrade and chose the .dav firmware file you want to load...

that little .005 seems to have done the trick... buttery smooth playback in Hik-connect! :)

I think it varies based on individual situation/usage... some have had trouble getting cameras to connect so that's a definite showstopper for them... seems like everyone has stuttering playback in Hik-connect... that may or may not be a major issue depending on how much you rely on that... it...

The first time you run it, enter your latitude and longitude coordinates... you can get these by right clicking on you location in google maps... after entering these, you should see correct sunrise/sunset times for the current date/location... enter your camera's username and password... enter...

Hi @kraven ... I have one of the EZVIZ DB1 Pro doorbells also but since V5.0 arrived I cannot get it to connect with HIKVISION protocol... It tells me I have the wrong password, but that same password works for RTSP... so I use HIKVISION_RTSP... did you change the password from the default...
