Somewhat. There's a beta release of the Web Components browser plugin for Mac OSX that resolves this issue, but for whatever reason Hikvision haven't publicly released it just yet. Not sure what the holdup is considering the scheduled release was in November, and it resolves the issue completely.

If you're still having issues after you've tried Cardoso's suggestions, it might be worth getting in touch with Hikvision directly. They'll be able to un-pair your DVR with whatever account it is currently tied to and you can start fresh.

I've been unable to find firmware for any of these models either, strange stuff. You might want to get in touch with Hanwha's support team directly and request it.

Hikvision's documentation unfortunately doesn't show the location of most microSD card slots on their cameras. I'd expect with your model that the back panel of the black camera body will unscrew and you'll find the microSD card slot underneath.

Contact Hikvision directly - they should be able to help you out. Alternatively, you could even look towards something as cost-effective as self-amalgamating tape, or plumber's tape etc.

Depending on your model, you should be able to find it from Samsung AKA Hanwha's own website, specifically on the product page for that model.

It's an extra megapixel. For the overwhelming majority of applications, 4MP is more than enough unless the 5MP cameras are attractively priced.

If you know what account it has previously been added to, simply login to that account and remove the DVR from the account. If you don't know what account it is added to, or have forgotten the password, you'll need to get in contact with Hikvision directly. Tell them your device's serial number...
