    J, The ethernet interface (RJ45 socket) is always active and can be used to connect your cameras to the router. Will your camera ethernet cables connect to your router LAN ports or will you go via a switch? David

    after you click Quick Set are all the settings restored? If so, is there an option to "always use these settings"? Could you post screenshots of the system menus and any advanced settings? We could be looking at a factory reset, do you know the admin password for the camera? David

    I'm not sure what it means in this context, I think it is related to the cloud connection. No-IP is fine, are there other options? For NTP make sure the DVR region and timezone are correct. Enable daylight saving. check enable check custom NTP IP 193.150.34.2 port 123 update period 1440...

    yes, reserve the IP addresses for the DVR and camera, make a note of them. send a screenshot. On the DVR go to the network page and enter the info needed, send a screenshot if you want. we'll sort out port forwarding later, baby steps... Need to setup on.... DVR setup NTP add your DDNS...

    @sue, I'm assuming the cloud and DDNS info is from the previous owner. Cloud disable (uncheck box) save DDNS disable delete existing data save. You may have to click the drop down box to the right of DDNS Type and select None, then save I forgot to flag the UPNP setting. Disable that and save...

    You've only did a partial factory reset, let's see what Hikvision say. The NVR firmware (old / new) are strange, the version numbers and dates are odd, Hikvisions firmware administration is terrible. David

    Morning Sue, could you post a screenshot of the problem? The gateway address belongs to your router. From what I've seen it is 192.168.0.1, that is the usual default for a TP-Link Archer C2. David

    Try to work direct from the NVR using mouse and keyboard. See this manual , bear in mind the interface shown may differ due to firmware differences. are your cameras connected to the poe ports on the NVR? David

    Not sure but you may have to select the camera first to enable intrusion detection etc. What computer and web browser are you using? David
