View 2 different DVRs on one screen remotely?

What software / app do you use to remotely access the DVR's? I use a VPN to connect to my home network, then I can monitor both NVR's at the same time. It should be possible to do the same using port forwarding, this is not very secure. David

EZVIZ H8C Crashes Network When Active Defence (Siren & Light) is Triggered?

when large homes were being powered with dc, they quickly realised that large conductors were needed over short distances. AC was the way to go, pushing power at high voltages (300kV ish).

EZVIZ H8C Crashes Network When Active Defence (Siren & Light) is Triggered?

@Alex_SA, The extender cable will have resistance and will lower the voltage at the camera connector. The motors, siren, and lights increase current draw lowering the voltage until the camera powers down. Current draw falls, voltage increases and camera powers on. As @johnfitzy says, move the...

    DS-7608NI-I2/8P Performance Issues?

@pazz, I had a similar ONVIF problem and ended up adding the cameras to the NVR using the custom protocol option and the RTSP protocol. I think two different ONVIF standards agreed a lower common ONVIF standard to offer "fluent" video resolution only. The camera offered three RTSP URL streams...

Which of the green and black ethernet cables connects to the NVR LAN port? Using the TV screen and mouse, do you have access to the NVR setup screens? If so could you post the network setup page? Can you also post the IP address assigned to your smartphone or tablet? Your NVR model number is...

Unable to flash bricked hikvision iDS-7216HQHI-M1/S DVR with Tftp?

I don't think the DVR is in TFTP recovery mode as Wireshark is not seeing connect requests being sent to the TFTP server. I think your DVR MAC address ends in 3C:EC:63 and is linked to 192.0.0.64. Can you find the DVR MAC address? It may be on the serial number plate or on a sticker near the...

Unable to flash bricked hikvision iDS-7216HQHI-M1/S DVR with Tftp?

@Malk, I found the same, you need to check which board you have. I'd try to load an older version of the firmware, there are no guarantees this will work. You already have a brick..... Looking at other forums I get the sense that Hikvision retired the TFTP recovery route a few years back, makes...

Unable to flash bricked hikvision iDS-7216HQHI-M1/S DVR with Tftp?

No, it would clearly show the TFTP protocol in use. The Hikvision TFTP server should be on the default port of 69. Is that the only data you see from the DVR IP address? Did you start the Wireshark capture before you switched the DVR on and then captured for at least 5 minutes? Line 664 shows...

Unable to flash bricked hikvision iDS-7216HQHI-M1/S DVR with Tftp?

you'll be looking for TFTP protocol packets coming from the DVR IP address and going to Laptop IP address. if you see them going to another IP address change the fixed IP address of your laptop to that address. If you don't see TFTP packets from the DVR then TFTP is not active, you can post a...
