Hikvision NVR with 3rd party WiFi IP Camera?

Ok, let me know when you are ready. The wired cameras are connected to the NVR private subnet which is isolated from your LAN. Is the cpe220 in wifi AP mode with the wifi cameras connected to it? What is the IP address of the router connected to the CPE220?

How many users can connect at once to an NVR?

I've setup NVR user accounts (not admin) and used those to stream to streaming services, have you considered YouTube? What bandwidth do you have available on your internet uplink (router WAN to ISP)? Depending on the video resolution you use, 15 users could easily consume that bandwidth.

    Hik-Connect Hik-Connect error 0xe002008?

So you are using SIM cards with public IP addresses to get around CGNAT? Sometimes remote servers do not like clients with excessive variable latency across the network, this is mainly on LEO and GEO stationary satellites but can happen on mobile networks. Have you tried a normal VDSL / FTTP...

    Hik-Connect Hik-Connect error 0xe002008?

Understood, I'm mainly Telecomms / network side. ISP's can do weird things on their networks. Have you checked that the relevant ports are open to the internet? On the router temporarily enable upnp then reboot. Then enable upnp on the NVR, reboot. check connectivity, if it works check the...

    Subnet mask settings?

as @ahdinko said, 172.32.x.x is outside the private IP address range. Your router is probably configured to block anything outside the private range. You should be able to use a public IP address on a router WAN interface, only use public IP addresses issued by your ISP. David

    Information on the RS-485 protocol?

The UART is usually in the USB converter that you buy, or in the serial port of the device you are using. In the NVR you mention the UART is connected to the RS485 connector. I have 3 USB converters. One is true RS232, the second is serial TTL (3.3Vdc) and the other serial TTL (5Vdc).

    Information on the RS-485 protocol?

Some customised protocols even slice up the hex command strings and reverse them (0xabc = 0xcba). A protocol sniffer can be used to interpret the commands sent and look for the patterns. I think a Dahua PTZ is being used so the command protocol may be in the public domain. In the late 90's we...

    Information on the RS-485 protocol?

Make sure the camera is compatible with the software you will use, be careful what you buy to interconnect everything. I'll help where I can, I'm sure the astronomy forums will be a wealth of information and ready made software. David

Door Entry FTP and NTP not working with DS-KD8003-IME1 Door Station?

Andy, I am not familiar with these door cameras. Would it be worthwhile doing a factory reset followed by firmware reload or upgrade or downgrade? I sense that you have two or three small problems giving an overall bigger problem. David
