What is the Best Option for Upgrading an Analog CCTV System - NVR or HVR/Hybrid DVR?

I have an analog setup and want to upgrade to IP, should I go for an NVR or buy this HVR 7204HUHI-M1/X.
Im planing to run 4 4mp IP cameras and already have 4 analog cameras

The DVR (or HVR as you're calling it) you've specified can take IP cameras as well as analogue. However, generally it won't work as well with IP cameras as a dedicated NVR will. You don't mention what your existing analogue setup is. If it's Hikvision you could get an NVR for your IP cameras, leave the DVR in place and add the camera streams from the DVR to the new NVR so they're all in one setup. If it's not Hikvision that path isn't available and really you're stuck with the DVR you've mentioned unless you're willing to replace the existing cameras with IP.
