Currently have Hik DVR DS-7204HUHI-K1-P(D29400763)

One of the back cameras (DS-2CE56H0T-IT3ZE) was getting condensation inside so I am looking to change it.

The current camera is current powered by single coax so looking for like for like replacement.

Below is a pic to where the camera is and the area it's covering.

Thanks

Such a modern looking apartment with coax cable. What a shame

Ugh PoC (Power over Coax) is a shame as it limits your choice somewhat.

Your existing DS-2CE56H0T-IT3ZE is a 5 megapixel 2.7 to 13.5 varifocal PoC model. If you had a means to get a 12V DC supply local to the camera I'd recommend the DS-2CE79H8T-AIT3ZF as that's the equivalent ultra low light model. It's far better than your current camera as it has a minimum illumination of 0.003 lux (as opposed to the 0.01 lux of your existing one). Unfortunately Hikvision don't do an ultra low light colour/mono varifocal model that's PoC over 2 megapixel. The newer version of what you have is a DS-2CE79H0T-IT3ZE but the specs are similar.

Unfortunately there's no way to get power to the camera.

Would any colorvu cameras work ?

I am happy to upgrade the DVR if needed but can't get any additional power supply to the cameras.

It must be 5 megapixel or less. 3K models will work once the DVR specific firmware patch has been applied (until that’s done you would get an unsupported stream error/black screen). The overruling factor is that it must be a PoC model. On the Hikvision site you’ll be able to filter to show only PoC models (the model numbers end in ‘e’)

That would enable additional features such as AcuSense to be used (models starting ‘iDS’) Also model depending you could get cameras up to 8 megapixel. Regardless PoC is what’s needed.
