Vivotek are committed to ensuring their products are safe and secure for their customers. In order to help prevent cyberattacks Vivotek have collaborated with cybersecurity company Trend Micro. Doing so has created a multi-layer of protection surrounding Vivotek products.
The multi-layer protection provides:
- Brute Force Attack Detection
- Intrusion Detection and Prevention
- Instant Damage Control
Users will receive instant event notifications for:
Brute Force Attack Events - upon detecting brute-force attacks, the system will automatically activate a defence mechanism to block the IP address and prevent further attacks
Cyberattack Events - a defence mechanism to block an IP address and prevent further attacks is automatically activated when a cyber security attack besides Brute Force Attacks is detected
Quarantine Events - if a suspicious device tries to access the network or IP cameras and accesses network behaviour hitting the Trend Micro signature rule, the system will quarantine the attack behaviour to prevent further damage
