Reset Hikvision iVMS-4200 software password

We've come across this for the first time this weekend.
A customer got in touch to say:

Apologies but I have locked myself out of my iVMS account and need the password resetting. I was trying to configure the email for alerts, and my password won’t let me back in. Below is the string that was generated by the software if you need that. The message told me to contact the dealer for reset:​
