Hik-Connect Not receiving Push notifications on mobile phone granted shared access?

Hi having an issue with the hik connect app with push notifications,
I have a fixed beam connected to the nvr input when the beam is crossed I get a notification on the host phone but the phone which is a shared device I don’t get any notifications.
I’ve been through all settings updated the app etc etc
Any ideas??
