Hikvision has today officially released the RTMP patch firmware that you will have seen mentioned in several YouTube Videos and in multiple posts on this forum.

The Download portal includes a file on how to setup RTMP live streaming after installing the firmware, we have also spoken to Hikvision about whether users who are already on newer firmware versions than this patch can install it and they replied with the below:

users can directly install this RTMP firmware even if they’re using the latest baseline firmware. Still not sure whether this feature will be added into the baseline, so If they want to keep RTMP feature, temporarily they have to stick on this firmware.
