I upgraded my M-Series NVR from 'V4.61.430 - Build 231123' to 'V5.02.006 - Build 240328'.

I have 18 cameras, where 16 are official Hikvision cameras and 2 are unofficial Hikvision cameras. With firmware 'V4.61.430 - Build 231123', all the cameras were online without issues. After upgrading the firmware to 'V5.02.006 - Build 240328'. The 2 unofficial Hikvision cameras no longer connect using the Hikvision protocol like before. So, I changed them to Onvif and tried to add them manually, but still have no luck getting them to connect.

I may have to downgrade back to the previous 'V4.61.430 - Build 231123' firmware, but prefer not too, since the new Gui is better.

Can anyone help with this issue. Is it a bug with the firmware, or intentional?

AFAIK you are the first to see this issue.
Tell us more about these unofficial cameras please?

The unofficial cameras are Hik PnP friendly, the following is the link to them:

NetviewCCTV 5MP Gen2 PIR Style IP Camera with PoE Mic & Audio - Hikvision PnP
I have had 3 of these for quite a few years and they have always worked with my NVR. Recently I replaced my NVR with the ‘DS-7732NI-M4-24P’. This by default came with firmware ‘V4.61.430 - Build 231123’ and it worked perfectly for all cameras, etc. no issues.

I took the plunge and upgraded to ‘V5.02.006 - Build 240328’ and the 3 non-official cameras failed to connect. Tried a lot of things, even tried adding them as ONVIF, it did not work.

Out of frustration I downgraded back to firmware ‘V4.61.430 - Build 231123’ where the cameras are working perfectly.
