Just a quick Post to share some detailed information in the attachment of the components Milesight use in their cameras and NVRs e.g. that all of their cameras that we offer use the Sony IMX range of sensors.
They use HiSilicon CPUs throughout their range of cameras and NVRs - the document details which CPU model, you'll note that more CPU intensive cameras such as the 4K camera and fisheye camera use a higher-rated CPU. This also separates those models out as using separate firmware from the rest of the range.
The document also details how much RAM (Random Access Memory - working area) and ROM (Read Only Memory - typically stores the operating code) each device has.
BTW - although the document shows an updated date of 14th August 2017 it is plainly a good deal more recent than that as it includes the latest models such as the fisheye camera and the mini-dome which were only released Q1 2018. It was provided to me today - 19th March 2018.
