Firmware Is it possible to update my cameras directly from the NVR?

Hello,

Is it possible to update my camera directly from the NVR? How to do so?

NVR:
DS-7608NXI-K2 / 8P
V4.75.005 build 230630

CAMERA:
DS-2CD2147G2
firmware: V5.7.12 build 221201

From the NVR menu the "detect updates" shows no other version, i updated manually the D1 camera to V5.7.14 build 231028 version
As you can see the D1 is the latest, the 3 other are still the version V5.7.12 build 221201

I would like to patch it directly from the NVR and not connect to every camera each time.. As i see a lot of CVE are being released and patching should be smoother.

There are no updates for those exploits as yet. The update feature has never worked and always says ‘no newer version’ or ‘latest version’ I was told that this may change specifically when the update is a security fix (but not otherwise)

The best way remains to keep an eye on product page for your model or this forum for news of updates and apply them manually via the camera directly.
