Hiwatch / Hikvision compatibility

I have a small system with a Hikvision NVR and a Hikvision ip camera. I’ve seen a cheap Hiwatch ip camera that would be great to fit inside my porch. Are the Hiwatch cameras fully compatible with the ‘plug & play’ auto detect option in the Hikvision NVRs?

Hi, I believe they are.
It would be best to check with the HiWatch camera supplier.

Check they are both onvif compliant...if they are then you are half way there. It doesnt mean it will work, but it SHOULD!
